About this look
This prompt turns one photo of you into a hand-painted 1970s Indian cinema poster: dramatic painted brush-stroke portrait, sunset gradient sky, action pose, retro hand-lettered title area left blank, painted grain and paper wear, vivid red, yellow and teal palette. It is lit by sunset. Use it for a throwback Thursday post or to see how you would have looked back then.
How to use it in Gemini or ChatGPT
- Tap Copy prompt above.
- Open Gemini or ChatGPT, tap + and upload a clear, front-facing photo of yourself.
- Paste the prompt and send it. The image is ready in under a minute.
- If a detail is off, reply with the fix in plain words (for example "keep my face exactly as in the photo") instead of starting over.
Tips for the best result
- A sharp photo where your face fills a good part of the frame gives the most accurate result.
- AI tools often misspell words in images. Write the exact text in quotes, or leave the space blank and add the text later in an editor.
- Hands are where AI slips most. If the fingers look odd, reply "fix the hands, five natural fingers" instead of starting again.
Try these variations
- Different light: change "sunset" to "neon signs reflecting on wet streets" for a dramatic night mood.
- Another place: move the scene to a Jaipur haveli courtyard and keep the rest of the prompt the same.
- Couple version: upload a photo of you both and write "the couple" instead of "the person", plus "keep both faces exactly the same".
Questions about this prompt
Is the Bollywood vintage poster prompt free to use?
Yes, it is free to copy and use in Gemini, ChatGPT or any AI app that takes a photo plus text. Your photo goes only to that AI app, never to Promptora.
Will the Bollywood vintage poster prompt keep my face the same?
It has a line that tells the AI to keep your face, skin tone, age and hairline as in your photo. Use one sharp, well-lit photo; if the face drifts, ask it to match the photo more closely.
Which is better for this prompt, Gemini or ChatGPT?
Both work. Gemini often gives more natural skin, and ChatGPT follows detailed scenes closely. If one result looks off, paste the prompt in the other app.
